These pants are inspired by the 1940s US Marine Corps P44 military pants, also known as "Monkey Pants." They feature a relaxed fit, high waist silhouette and large, structured side and back pockets, which were used to carry military gear. The modern version retains the original's wide cut and distinctive pockets, but with improved materials and details, making them more suitable for everyday wear.
