Traditional Tuck Trousers were hugely popular among jazz musicians in the last century and are inspired by traditional pleated trousers, with a loose fit through the thighs and a high waist.

The loose, straight leg cut, loose around the thighs, slightly tapered hem, and just long enough to slip over the shoes, are roomy in the legs to support movement when dancing or playing an instrument, and the high waist design makes it easy to tuck the shirt into the pants, bringing out sophisticated elegance and a natural casual look.
rhetoric ｜detail
The wide pleats at the waist give it a streamlined look and provide comfortable movement for the legs. A work-pants-style ticket pocket has been added to the hem for added detail.

Inspired by traditional tucked trousers, we chose a diagonal weave fabric woven with high twist yarn, revealing irregular fibre knots on the surface, giving the trousers a more rustic and relaxed cotton texture.
