Concept ｜design

The garment employs indigo dyeing, a dyeing technique with a long history that plays an important role in traditional clothing, particularly in Japan and China. The sashiko cotton dōfuku design draws inspiration from traditional East Asian attire, with patchwork and patch elements representing a contemporary reinterpretation of retro style and an interest in sustainable fashion.
